About Misericords: The members of Misericords have an impressive lineup of previous projects that include SubPop recording artists TAD, Brothers of the Sonic Cloth, Valis (ex-Screaming Trees), Resonator, Hollywood Lightweights, Bundle of Hiss, Mustard, Foil, Sledge, Control Freak, Quaranteens, Kristen Barry, Daddy Hate Box (members of Coffin Break/TAD), and Yeast (CZ Records). Allen originally got together with Scott in late 2008 to write and record many of the current songs under the moniker of “The Jaggies.” After recruiting Kurt Danielson (ex-TAD) on vocals and Mike Mongrain on drums, the band evolved into its present incarnation, Misericords!
